Most common applications are swimming pools, spas, hot tubs, sanitary equipment, out door machines, medical equipment. To give a better resistance to cleaning or sanitary products used in these equipments, plastic used is high grade ABS. Used as a remote control, an air switch as two different possible actions : Momentary action : when you push on the air button, the air switch is actuated. When air button is released, the air switch is also released. This is the way the basic pressure switches are working. Alternate action (also said latching or bistable) : the first push on air button actuate the air switch, that remains actuates when air button is released. A second push on the air button will release the air switch.
